To the Editor: I read with great interest the study by Misra et al. Although it is a well-designed randomized controlled trial, I would like to delineate a few limitations of this study. The trial evaluates a highly selective population, hospitalized malnourished infants and children in rural India. Unfortunately, no data are presented about the indication for hospitalization.
